Aistė Marija Stankevičiūtė (1998) is a visual artist, curator and writer who uses texts, sculptural objects and drawings to explore the image of villains shaped by pop culture. By giving dreamlike qualities to various underground signs spotted in the city streets she creates fragments of distorted worlds, placing them in gallery spaces and publications. In her curatorial practice, she focuses on artists' texts and conversations, which are presented in the zines that accompany the exhibitions.

Currently, Stankevičiūtė writes texts and exhibition reviews for contemporary art newspapers online, and also works in the field of cultural communication, as a project manager for communication and digital channels at Rupert and Radvila Palace Art Museum. Since 2023 she has been a member of the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Association.

Her work has been shown at the Contemporary Art Centre (Vilnius, Lithuania), Rupert Residency (Vilnius, Lithuania), Podium Project Space (Oslo, Norway), EXPO Chicago (Chicago, USA) and other international exhibitions of contemporary and modern art.
